The Rice Girls’ Prep Hockey team traveled to UMaine this weekend to start league play with two games vs. the Kings Edgehill School from Nova Scotia. Rice swept the weekend winning both games. Senior Kyra Yu scored the only goal in the first game right off the opening face off. Senior goalie Claire Parry shut down KES the rest of the way earning the shut out. The second game was back and forth play with Rice finishing on top 3-2. Sophomore goalie Jaycee Martin played strong getting her first win as a Knight as well.
