    The Rice Memorial Prep hockey team has had a good stretch of games heading into the MPHL Playoffs (Feb. 16th-18th in Buffalo, NY).

    After an 0-3-1 start to the 2017-2018 Season, the Knights have pulled back to .500 on the heals of a 3 game winning streak.

  • Kovacs to Join Coaching Staff

    Ross Kovacs (Dickinson, ND) to join Rice Memorial Prep Coaching Staff for the 2017-2018 season.  Kovacs, an Exercise and Physiology Major and 2017 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College (MIAC – NCAA Div. III).

  • End of the Year Awards – Stanislas and Mueller Named Captains

    The 7th Rice Prep hockey season came to an official close on Saturday, June 4, 2016.  Graduating Seniors were recognized, as well as others.  Also, Logan Stanislas and Scott Mueller were name Captains for the 2016-2017 Season.

  • Marotte ’13 Commits to Robert Morris

    Robert Morris University men’s hockey Head Coach Derek Schooley is pleased to announce the signing of goaltender Francis Marotte for coming season. Marotte signed his national letter of intent this week and will join the Colonials beginning with the 2016-17 season.

  • MPHL Kick-Off Recap

    Rice Memorial Prep was excited to host the 5th Annual MPHL Kick-Off Classic in South Burlington, VT. Similar to past events, this year’s Kick Off was fast paced, competitive hockey! Fifteen of the twenty-five games played were decided by 2 goals or less.

  • 2015-2016 Rice Memorial Prep Season Preview

    The 2014-15 season was one of the most successful for the Rice Memorial Prep Hockey team in several years. Overall, the Knights posted about a .500 record, but made tremendous strides as a Semifinalist in the Albany Academy Rider Cup, and Stanstead Invitational. The Knights also had a historic run in the MPHL, finishing the League Playoffs with victories over St. Michael’s School, and Stanstead College, before losing in the MPHL Championship Game to Ridley College.

  • Knights go 2-1 at Albany Academy Rider Cup

    After a loss to host (and eventual champ) Albany Academy, the Knights rebound to salvage 2 wins in Albany Academy Rider Cup.
